New Literary Project Featured in Datebook

The New Literary Project’s work was recently brought to life in the San Francisco Chronicle’s Datebook, in an article titled “Our stories matter. Oakland’s New Literary Project understands why,” written by Anna Nordberg.

Featured in the article are a handful of the people vital to our mission, including Board Chair Joseph Di Prisco, 2021 Simpsonista Award Winner Julayne Virgil, 2022 Joyce Carol Oates Prize Winner Lauren Groff, and UC Berkeley English Department Chair Ian Duncan.
