New Literary Project
New Literary Project, a not-for-profit founded in 2015, enhances the lives of readers, writers, teachers, and students in diverse communities in California and across the nation. Along with the Joyce Carol Oates Prize, NewLit offers free creative writing workshops to high school-age writers led by Bonnetti-Bell Fellows from the UC Berkeley English Department, as well as fellowships for high school teachers who are writers themselves and opportunities for writers across generations to share their work.
Learn more about New Literary Project, our fall Roadshow, and our people.
We hope you’ll join us for an evening of great company, conversation, and a celebration of what’s possible.
